2009 started off very quiet. But in
the past few weeks that all changed when 5 collies needed our help...
almost all at the same time! (see our newest arrivals in this issue).
I put together our
"stats" for 2008. Last year we were able to help
87 animals who found their way into CRI.
You'll also notice that the average
dog costs CRI a bit more than our adoption fee. The
difference is made up from your generous donations, gifts and other
fund raising efforts.
Speaking of which, the 2009 Collie Calendar
was very successful. MANY THANKS to Shepe's talented mom,
Selva, for designing it! In fact, we
actually sold all of the calendars! Thank you to
everyone who submitted your great pictures, and please start taking
more for this year's contest!

Rescuing these noble creatures is
not possible without the generous help from each of
you: Fosters, Transport Drivers, Event Helpers, Adopter
Screeners, Administrative Volunteers, and everyone who
supports Collie Rescue through their generous donations.
Thank you...thank you...thank you!
